Recording process

lunes, 7 de enero de 2013

When you start a recording process, this means that you will hear the same song over and over again. It also means that you will play as horrible as you ever played.

A few tips:
When recording, don't drink
And try to go to your recording session after a good night sleep
If the first take fails, keep going. It's training.
Always check your tuning before the session
If you want to try new arrangements, first do a take as you always do. Then, use the followings to experiment.
If your sessions are extremely limited, rehearse the songs before going to the studio.
Always start your eq at flat.
Go to your session relaxed, and knowing that a few takes will surely go wrong
Don't ever ever ever do just one take. Doesn't matter if you think the first you did went perfect.
